Satisfying my Spanish tapas craving at Esquina, Singapore

Esquina

Nestling in the home of several popular restaurants like Burnt Ends, Potato Head Singapore and etc., is a cosy, fun, delectable Spanish tapas restaurant, Esquina.

My siblings and I were thrilled to have came across Esquina while looking for a Spanish restaurant to try out as the ambience, food and service were really good.

The restaurant is situated in a 2-storey shophouse where each floor encompasses a different ambience. The ground floor has a casual, fun vibe – when you enter, you’re welcomed by an american diner bar top with an industrial touch to it. And as you walk up to the second floor, you’ll find that it has a warm and family-style vibe created by the dimmer lights and decor.

So we started our night with their modern and classic Sangria and then ordered the following dishes below…

Sat by the window seat, featuring the Sangria

I was not too fond of the Sangria because it felt quite diluted with water.. There was excessive foam and I could not taste too much of the fruits and wine. However, apart from the drink, I found the food to be quite delightful ๐Ÿ™‚

Grilled Spanish octopus, Jerusalem, artichoke, burnt onion, oyster leaf

I’m a big fan of grilled octopus and they did it really well, the meat was so juicy and tender!

The dessert is great combination of sweet and savory. Very cute and it tastes pretty good!
